Isobel Parker

It was with great sadness that the Border Fancy Canary Club report the passing of the Border Canary secretary Bobby Parker’s wife Isobel Parker of Doonbank, Ayrshire.
Isobel has been poorly for a year, but still went to many shows to help the secretary with the administration on show day.
She was a lovely lady who was admired and appreciated by all.
Isobel was well known in the fancy and was assistant secretary, being a great help to Bobby in his undertakings for the Border Fancy Canary Club for the past 22 years.
She also ran Ayr C.B.S. and assisted the secretaries of all of the clubs that she attended during the show season.
The Border Fancy Canary Club have become dependent on the various tasks that Isobel carried out and will struggle without her.
The fancy will be less rich without her input and knowledge, and she will be very difficult to replace.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Our condolences go to Bobby.
